The club was founded in 1978 by a local mum and has since gone from strength to strength.

Our aims:

  • To give moral support to parents of multiple births, both before and after their babies are born, right through to young adulthood
  • It is often in the first few months after the birth that help and advice is most needed.
We do try to concentrate our efforts on providing information, personal visits to local maternity hospitals and support to all families
  • To promote public, commercial and medical awareness of the problems associated with multiple births
  • To raise funds to help promote the club and further its aims

We now have approximately 100 families as members who live in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

The club is a UK registered charity, number 1107090 as well as being registered with the Twins Trust, which is the national co-ordinating association of Twins Clubs.

We are run entirely by a committee of parent volunteers. Between us we have multiples ranging in age from toddler to adult, so we know what it’s like to plan for multiples, and parent them through the sleepless nights of childhood to the, well, sleepless nights of the teenage years and beyond!

WHAT WE DO

We provide the services parents of multiples need. Advice, discounts, dance classes, days out and more

DAYTIME GROUPS

Parent-led groups specifically for the families & carers of multiples. We support these groups, and several of their leaders have sat on our committee

SUBSIDISED EVENTS

Bring your multiples out to meet our other members – we run a host of events each year, including things like soft play trips, swimming, farm trips, picnics, pantomimes and our ever-popular Christmas Party.

PRE-LOVED EQUIPMENT

Whether you’re looking for a bargain or selling the clothes, toys and equipment your little ones have finished with, our private Facebook Group is the ideal venue, and it’s entirely free to use!

DISCOUNTS

Crafts, Clothing, Soft Play… and the hugely popular PZc… and the even more popular Clarks!

TALKS

Group talks can be given within antenatal classes at Nottingham University Hospitals, or on an informal basis. If you just want to talk to another multiple parent one-to-one, let us know and we’ll help you find someone.

TRAVEL COTS

These are available to borrow for our members, free of charge, saving you money on that much needed family trip.
